Digital Personal Data Protection Notice

According to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable DPDP Rules

Feedol Oil recognises the importance of protecting personal data and is committed to handling digital personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection requirements.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 establishes a framework concerning the processing of digital personal data and provides rights including access to information, correction and erasure, grievance redressal and nomination, subject to the Act and applicable rules.

7. Right to Correction and Erasure

Where applicable, you may request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

You may also request erasure of personal data where applicable. Erasure may be subject to legal, regulatory, contractual, security or other lawful retention requirements. The DPDP Act specifically provides for correction and erasure rights subject to applicable requirements.

The DPDP Act provides a right to grievance redressal and requires applicable Data Fiduciaries to provide a readily available means for raising grievances.

9. Right to Nominate

Where applicable under the DPDP framework, an individual may nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in accordance with the Act and Rules.

10. Data Security

Feedol Oil takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, loss or destruction.

The DPDP Act requires Data Fiduciaries to implement reasonable security safeguards and contains provisions concerning personal data breaches.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the specified purpose or as required or permitted by applicable law.

Where the specified purpose is no longer being served and retention is not otherwise required, personal data may be erased or anonymised in accordance with applicable requirements.

Feedol Oil may engage service providers or Data Processors for website hosting, technology, communications, analytics, security and business operations.

Where personal data is processed on our behalf, appropriate contractual and organisational measures may be used to protect the data.

17. Applicable Law

This notice is intended to operate with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules, notifications and requirements issued under it, as applicable to Feedol Oil.

The Government notified the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 on 13 November 2025, with different provisions coming into force according to the published phased commencement schedule.

Feedol Oil may update this notice as applicable provisions become effective or as its data-processing practices change.
